How we can add a parameter into COMSOL Multiphysics

In this tip we want to see how we can add a parameters in COMSOL Multiphysics. Our aim is to add two parameters U (velocity) and H (Channel Height – a geometric parameter) to Parameters section in order to use as inputs in the simulation problem.

U3.33 [cm/s]0.0333 m/sInlet mean velocity at steady state
H100 [um]1E-4 mChannel Height
  1. In the Model Builder window, under Global Definitions click Parameters 1.
  2. In the Settings window for Parameters, locate the Parameters section.
  3. In the table, enter the information which you want. In this tip, they are the data which is given in the table above.

We can see the section in the COMSOL Multiphysics software interface.

Computational Modeling and Simulation is the simulation center of Acamech that models Mechanical Engineering Problems, especially Multiphysics Simulation; including Fluid Flow (CFD), Structural Mechanics, Acoustics, Heat Transfer as a unique Multiphysics problem. We use COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, and Autodesk Inventor.
